Carlos Sanchez, better known as Carlos Pintor is a famous TV presenter on a local television station in Ciudad Juarez. Carlos has presented several programs with great rating among them include "A Primera Hora" and "Merlin y Los Niños Increibles" but in D-blog will show their artistic side. When and where you were born?
I was born on August 6, 1980, in Chihuahua City.
How old are you?
I am 29 years old
Where did you grow up?
My family moved to Juarez when I was 2 years old and I have been I Juarez almost all my life.
What kind of family do you have?
I think it is a traditional family; some times it is called a nuclear family, father mother and two children (my sister & me). I grew up in a very conservative family, the strangest part is that I grew up the opposite way I am NOT a conservative person.
How did you start painting?
Since I was a little boy I loved painting, but I started in an art contest in middle school at the age of 14, by the way I won first place.
Did you take lessons?
Of course, I took classes at the art academy of Juarez, years later I went to college for an associate’s degree in arts, at the CMA (Centro municipal de las arte)
What inspires you?
The human behavior, (vanity, love, stress, fear, gossip), & anything related with animal specially insects.
Which style do you use in your paintings?
I try to incorporate different styles.
What does it means for you to paint art?
A way to express our feelings, especially anything that impresses me.
Which famous painters around the world you admire the most?
From Europe el Bosco, from USA Andy Warhol & from México Julio Galán
How do you see yourself in 5-10 years?
Living in a big city, surrounded by lights, artists, museums, and people from all over the world.
What do you plan for the next few months?
Move to Miami fl. And get a new job and create my new exhibition
What message would you give to new talent?
Never to give up and push you’re self to do more, try to be the best in everything, & always try to get noticed by everyone.
